I have been waiting for months now to see if I qualify for a home motification. I dont want to loose my house but cenlar won't work with me on getting caught up and I can't make my monthly payments until I do. All I want to do is make this right and no one will work with me. Read more

No one there in 2009 knew anything about the plans for homeowners who lost their jobs. Was processing paperwork and called them 3 times a day sometimes would nNEVERreturn my call. I have been waiting for over a month, going on almost 2 now, to see my escrow returned from Cenlar when I closed with Nationstar Mortgage, a company that they recommended via flyers in my original mortgage statement. Cenlar turned me into a collection agency and docked my credit score after I "missed" payment by one day. They claimed my ACH was a day late but it is automatic so this is totally false. They also claim they called and warned me twice yesterday, but they never called. I asked them to show me recording of call and they could not provide it. I had an insurance claim out for my house where the check was issued to us and Cenlar. Cenlar customer service reps after multiple calls could not get on the same page as to documents owed and what they had received versus not received. Every time you call their company you get a different answer. This has to be a game they play in order to make interest off the money that insurance companies... Read more

Our mortgage was sold to CENLAR on Feb 3, 2014. On Feb 5 I sent our Feb payment by overnight Fed-Ex and received confirmation from Fed-Ex that the package had been received and signed for at CENLAR on Feb 6. CENLAR denies it was received! I have followed up with them 6 times and never received a response as to where my check is (it cost me $15 to send that payment by Fed-Ex) and all they can say... Read more

I signed a fix rate, only to have my payment go up $200 after the first year as they figured my taxes and Insurance wrong to start with, so by by fixed payment. HAFA short sales are supposed to be quite painless once a decent offer arrives, but we lost 2 different buyers because Cenlar refused to accept the terms of the HAFA shortsale.
