Get this, Cenlar was supose to take over my loan on May 2, 2016, well on the 25th of april I got no less than 3 phone calls from the "welcome center" letting me know my april paymennt was late but I had a 60 day grace period. I informed them that they did not have my loan till may 2 but they did not care. Then I made my May payment on time but, oh yes there is a but , they credited me for April payment. The website itself looks like it hasn't been touched since the early 90's, but at least for awhile it would function. One day I logged in to make a payment with the same username and password I have used since day one and was told I was locked out. I made one attempt--it says right on the website that you should have at least three attempts (and I am 100% sure I entered the right info). I can only hope my mortgage is sold to another company because cenlar doesn't have a clue as to what they are doing! I have paid 3 months in advance & cenlar isn't giving me credit for it. Why one might ask? Because cenlar mortgage company wants you to be late on your payment so they hold back money for no apparent reason. After several calls I get a different response each time! I have been waiting for a return call hmmmm I am glad I didn't hold my breath! It might be worth refinancing just to get this mortgage out of cenlar's hands. Read more

Will not pay my home owners insurance with the money they have in my escrow account. They keep lying and saying it is paid. They paid it to the a company the first time that I have never even heard of. 2 months and still unresolved. I have made numerous phone calls and spoke to supervisors. Right now I am on hold and have been for over an hour. Then if anything like the last call I will be disconnected before I am helped resolve my issue. My loan was sold to Cenlar and then I received a notice from my county tax office that my home was going to be auctioned off if the taxes weren't paid. I have faxed everything needed for them to pay the bill but have had no luck. Other loan companies before Cenlar never missed anything. First they said it was paid, then oopps please send us the bill, after faxing three times the info needed, they say they didn't receive anything. I'm at my wits end with this. I was charged 2 late fees. It was the companies error. I provided banking details with representative, however, my account previously used was still charged. They agreed to review the taped conversations where it had been agreed apon to refund the two late charges totaling 237.00. No one ever got back with me x 2 attempts with supervisor. Add comment

According to Cenlar's information through the website AND my documentation, my loan matures in 2019. It is a 30 year loan. Cenlar insists I need to pay through 2029 (40 years) and will not release any paperwork showing a refinance of this mortgage. I have sent repeated requests for documentation (certified, return receipt, etc.) I get NOTHING back. I am always disconnected when I call. Cenlar sent my annual insurance payment to the wrong company. I am 4 months in to this and they will NOT call me back. I am trying to waive my escrow and manage it myself, but they won't let me out of escrow because of the shortage, caused by them sending my insurance money to the wrong place. Really ? I have been with Cenlar since 2010 and the are the worst. I make my mortgage payments on the 3rd of every month and they will call me and send me letters saying that I'm late on my payments. I have to electronically send all payments due to the fact if I mail them out, They will be mailed back to me. If I need something from customer service, they won't send it to me for at least two weeks or more, but they want their payment right away. I have to call customer service at least 4 times in 1 day to get something out of these people and it's... Read more
