Cenlar review in Dayton, Ohio: Cost us our home.

Our loan was sold to Cenlar, we were with Midwest Lending, A great company by the way. Cenlar then some how messed all our info up and payments. We found out from my brother n law our home was in forclosesure in the small town paper. Thank goodness i kept EVERYTHING. ! I did not have the extra money for an attorney, I did all the paper work myself, clerk papers etc. We beat them in court. After that is was *** to pay in all sense of the word. then after a time once again at their negligence but to us this time it cost us our home. Again more money upped on the payments ,we had a 30 year fixed rate. once excuse after another, Call after call for 6 months , lies and lies mounted. No reponses from Cenlar,-- So to keep the house from forecloseure. We put it on the martket in a short sell. It sold. We owed 82 thousand. they got 34 thousdand. It also was a Fannie mae loan. Then i also found out it being a Fannie Mae loan Cenlar "could not put the house in foreclosure " UNLESS" they had exausted ALL areas of the help needed. Even when they tried once and lost to us in court, Then they did again. I called Fannie Mae myself. If i hadnt i would of never found out so much info.. Cenlar is not for the customer at all . It see's you as a number and a price over your head and a balance in their books . Bean counters never do. It is the bottom line with all. HOWEVER, This is one business that needs looking into from the FBI and THEIR PRACTICES. And my question is WHY ARE THEY NOT BEING INVESTAGATED??????? And made to re-emburse like Bank of America had to, CountyWide Lending ,etc....There is a class action suit? somebody tell me about it , i will join in..Thanks

I just got a letter about my modification and it was denied cenlar told me I had enough liquid assets to pay my mortgage which was raised 400.00 a month for insurance and taxes which I pay, I like to know since my husband is disabled with a ssi check and we filed bankruptcy how or where theses assets are.My loan was from Lend America whose Mortgage license was taken away for FRAUD

We did make our payments, had ownd our home for 5 years, and YES we did WIN in court. There you are wrong. And so is CENLAR. In every sense of doing business.

You didn't win in court. You didn't make your payments for the house.

Of course you will be foreclosed on.

HINT: You actually have to pay for things you want in life. Crazy, I know, but that's the way it works.

Sadly I am having the exact same problem with Cenlar, they are asking for all kinds of insurance, tax escrow amounts. None of which is due.

I keep sending faxes, records, receipts etc proving I owe them nothing. No response from them. Been going on for months.

Clearly...CENLAR is a massive fraud. Trying to find a way to pay off this small morgage and get out from under these criminals.

Every year it goes up - they told me it is a "law" that I have to have a buffer in my escrow account, but I would get it back at the end of the year. Never seen a dime back, and twice last year I got increases in my mortgage payment

Cenlar dropped the ball

We were another TB&W orphan. Things were ok until a year ago when Cenlar failed to pay our insurance company premium even though we were on time with all our payments and maintained the appropriate escrow balance. They claimed they never received the policy information even though I personally provided it not once, but twice. The second time in response to a letter from Cenlar stating they still didn't have the insurance policy info and would be forced to purchase a seperate policy to cover. They again failed to update our information and make the premium payment from our escrow balance and worse, did not purchase a different policy as the letter stated. As a result, our homeowners insurance lapsed and we are now forced to pay a ridiciulous premium since the home went uninsured for a while. Currently doing everything we can to refinance with a different company just so we don't have to do business with Cenlar.

I paid my mortgage off in Late November 2007, I recieved Form 1098 in December of 2007 indicating that the debt was satisfied. I was told that my deed and title was being sent for recording and I would recieve them through the mail within two to three weeks.

I didn't recieve them and called them and was told that it would be another week. I work out of the country and I left going back to work. I have contacted them several times and I get the same answer. It is now May 2012 and I still have not recieved the title to my home.

I called today and got the same answer. I'm talking with my lawyer this evening.

Cenlar review in Fort Myers, Florida: Late escrow payments for three consecutive years!

They have for three consecutive years come to the *** of letting my insurance expire. Each year I have to call and stomp my feet to get it paid. So much for an escrow account. My frustation with this is only exceeded by the level of ignorance you deal with when you call. It is also upsetting that there are santions that the consumer can take against them. Also when you call there is no one on the other end that can speak to me in English! I have complained for three straight years to no avail! Maybe I should start a month early next year!!!!!!!!!!!

Taylor Bean and whittaker had our mortgage, sold to Cenlar-we get our monthly payment statement and it had a $773.00 amount to pay for April 1/2012, all along we have been paying $820.00-we called them and the guy on the phone that we couldn't understand because his language was hard to understand-he said that actually we have to pay $950.00 ! (what?!) after many minutes of aggravation-he said it was because LAST year, our escrow was behind because our taxes went up-REALLY??? Last year???? what a bunch of bone heads...we got off the phone, dropped a few f bombs, called another Mortgage and am quickly getting the *** out from under them! We will be re-financing soon! STAY AWAW FROM THIS COMPANY-I can't even get signed on to their website-it also screws us around!

taxes went up slightly but insurance went down significantly-still boneheads-we are refinancing as we speak to a LOCAL and AMERICAN speaking company

I don't have a mortgage with Cenlar, but have had many mortgages in the past. You should have received a copy of your tax bill.

If the taxes went up the year before and your mortgage payment did not, the increase in your escrow payment should not come as a surprise. The fact that the lender allows you to pay the shortage over time means they paid the tax bill in full when it was due and are letting you pay it back gradually without charging any interest on the amount the fronted to the county for your tax bill.

i have fixed rate on mortgage with CENLAR. after a few years i dropped hazard insurance becausing of rising price.

company set me up with another hazard insurance more expensive than other. CENLAR said i owe for back insurance of 4,919.04. my fixed rate payment is 302.19 + hazard 223.59 equals 525.78 monthly. and that is if i pay the 4,919.04.

and if i don't. payments will be 935.70 a month. i would like to add state farm insurance instead. it is cretible company and cheaper rate because i also have auto insurance.

i am 66 yrs. old.and get the feeling that they would like to kick granny to the curb. and do away with fixed rate. and charge more for this house.

that isn,t worth it. but it is all i have. any ideas?

We, unfortunately due to our mortgage company TB&B going out of business are stuck with Cenlar the most worthless companies on the planet. We can’t take advantage of the low interest rates as Cenlar do not offer home loans, re-financing or any type of mortgage regardless of their statement “Cenlar service residential home portfolios and offers home equity loans, residential loans, auto loans, student loans and many other kinds of loans”.

BS and god forbid if you ever contact their CUSTOMER SERVICE via email, you will finally after around 3 days receive an email totally useless and it will not address your question or concerns, but simply inform you that they have pass you request on, at this point you have lost, you will never receive any useful help or assistance EVER!

They continually spin you round and around, because no one knows what the *** they are doing! :(
