Cenlar is Incompetent

My loan, like many others, was assumed by Cenlar. They told me this morning they weren't sure they even had a copy of my mortgage documents. I am at my wits end and do not know who to turn to. Two years in a row they have paid my property taxes without having the right to do so. They have taken my mortgage payments and applied them to money they say I owe. I have never missed a payment and they are currently saying I am two months behind. To make matters worse they have been reporting incorrect negative information to the credit reporting bureaus. I have zero idea how to fix this situation. How can something like this happen........????? How can a company be so incompetent yet be assigned a failed lender's accounts. This is so messed up I can only assume the federal gov. hand picked CENLAR because of donations given to the right people in power. I want Cenlar out of my life for good and will do whatever is necessary. Does anyone have any suggestions ???? I have sent certified letters to the 3 credit bureaus disputing anything and everything Cenlar has noted regarding my credit report.

I would recomend also filing a complaint with the FTC on the matter. You can go online and do it.

They are messing with your bank. Also send them a qualified written request to NJ and demand they audit your account and correct everything.

If they do not respond and do not correct the problem that is a RESPA violation and each one of those violations add up. You could successfully sue them and get your loan paid off for each and every violation.

Cenlar review in Fruitland Park, Florida: Having to reload several times

i love netflix. but having the movie reload about every 10 or 15 minutes is almost as bad as the commercials that made me cancel my Dish. This only started after a recent download they insisted I needed 2 or 3 weeks ago. They need 100 word, wonder why, oh well, i can ramble on to just fill up space, how silly. I said it very clearly the first time. Now I am just wasting my time and theirs. how silly, again. well, still have 15 more words to go. perhaps being able to pick actors would be a nice addition. done!!

Cenlar SUCKS! I LIVE IN AMERICA AND WANT AMERICANS ANSWERING THE PHONE!!!!!!

Paid off a Loan with Cenlar on the First of the Month it has now been 42 days and we still do not have our escrow refund and everytime I call I get someone in freakin India who cannot speak proper English and they ALWAYS say the check is in the mail!!!!!!!!! Called THREE TIMES TODAY got THREE different explanations on my refund..FINALLY DEMANDED a person in the UNITED STATES (i mean *** thats where I live NOT FREAKIN INDIA) and that person also had a different explanation for my refund. We are talking in excess of $2800.00!!!!! They are absolutely the most HORRIBLE company to deal with and I have been in Real Estate and Finance 25 years! Cenlar should been SHUT DOWN!!!!! AND you Customer Service Representatives SHOULD ALL BE FROM THE USA AND SPEAK PROPER ENGLISH THIS IS FREAKIN AMERICA!

I am sick of this happening when we fill out our payment correctly evey month on Cenlars web page they always attempt to take it out of our savings account when we have the checking account box clearly checked. However this is not our bank error, this is a Cenlar Error, and our bank did not refund the last $40.00 they cost us and this time they have cost us another $20.00. Now that we see a pattern with Cenlar. Has anyone else ever had this problem with the online payment issues?

Since last time Cenlar attempted to take the funds twice from our savings account in your error we have transferred the money to our savings account in case to mitigate our damages due to their pattern, because they may very well attempt to take the money again from the same incorrect account to prevent another $20.00 fee that if it happens again.

I cannot refinance and get away from them because they are not participating in the HAMP program and they do not do modifications. But I agreed to pay my Mortgage. But I did not agree to pay it to unethical theives.

They are the worst bunch of crooks. They keep calling 3 times a day even though the loan hasn't gone past overdue.

Their automated system doesn't give the correct amount to pay without a service charge. Similar thing online. The online system wont allow me to edit the amount due for the month but will add the next month dues also which aren't even due. When I call to talk to an agent the message says the office is closed due to unforeseen circumstances.

Certainly I support a class action lawsuit against these guys. High time someone looked at their operations. They are nickel and diming customers. They sent default loan notices to me even though I have always been current and reported the loan as default to all three credit bureaus.

My credit score dropped more than 60 points. I will complaint to the feds too.

Cenlar Fees. Don't Add Up!

Paying an on-line fee to give a company my money immediately doesn't make a bit of sense. I really enjoyed my relationship with TB&W and am very unhappy about being forced to be a CENLAR customer. I do not appreciate them trying to change the terms of my loan either by adding any fees especially when there is very little human involvement required to process an on-line payment. I think the people have spoken, and the Company better listen, or we might start demanding that the banks repay us the money we gave them to bail themselves deeper.

I'm refinancing my home... movnig it away from Cenlar.

Today I find out that Cenlar is charging me a $19.95 "fax" fee. Appears that my title company asked for some info and Cenlar faxed it. No one ever told me that info was being faxed and certainly Cenlar never told me that they would charge me a "fax" fee. On top of this not being legal (as I never requested this service or agree to such a charge) I have no doubt that any court would not allow them to charge $19.95 without warning as, if nothing else, it's excessive (ya, think).

My nice email reply gives them 14 days to credit me these charges (or asked for more) time.

Lacking a response/credit I _will_ notify every appropriate agency of this charge.

I have no doubt that they have billed thousands of customers this amount without the customer know and that most gov't bodies would be happy to fine them for this practice. I will also file in small claims court for these fees back.

My bank pays mine electronic. If I pay alittle more when I send in the payment they post it towards principle.

It works great for me every month.

I did send payment by mail and had some problems. This has fixed it.

Cenlar Nightmare

Ever since Cenlar took over my Taylor Bean & Whittaker loan, I have had nothing but disgust for this company. When they took over the loan, I spent all day hunting down whom had the loan. What I don't understand is that I have a fixed mortgage rate and my amount keeps going up. Now, as of recently, they are sending out monthly statements (I have always paid online (one time payments) and they are now going to charge $2 a month for one time, online payments. I wrote an email stating the banks do not charge for one time ACH drafts, why should they. They said I signed some sort of document and I have NEVER signed a document with them. They don't even have my mortgage documents signed by me with them as the lender. I informed them I was taking the form letter they sent to my attorney (I work for an attorney) and the following day Cenlar called me, but we resolved nothing. I want to obtain a new home mortgage and quit doing business with them. This company needs to be investigated.

Cenlar review in Detroit, Michigan: Tired of the run around & service agents that can't speak English

I too am a victim of TB&W clients transfer to CENLAR. They are claiming that I am two months behind on Mortgage payments; When I contacted the office, they claim that they have never received the Sept & October 2009 payments.. I have faxed my bank statements to them 2 times where it shows that two payments were made in September 2009; Oct 09; Nov 09. But they can not find the faxed documents. I am tired of talking to people that can't understand me and not being understood by the people I am talking too! I just got off the phone with them again and I am to fax the info to them in the AM and send the hard copies to them in the mail. Is there a place that we can go to get help with these people.

I too am a TBW throw back to Cenlar and I am having the same issue they have received several faxes and hard copies of my payments for Aug.2009 and Sept.2009 and YET they still say I have not made them. I have sent all paperwork they have requested and yet they still threaten me with FORECLOSURE.

Daily I get letters from CENLAR telling me to call them but THERE is NO PHONE NUMBER just some *** NAME.

Where is the help for the PEOPLE like us and WHERE do we turn I know I have spoke to a lawyer but to no avail he says get the statements from your bank I want to tell him GIVE ME THE MONEY THE BANK WANTS TO RESEARCH for the papers etc> 25 an hour and 7 a page

CENLAR CENTRAL LOAN ADMINISTRATION & REPORTING

THE BANK HAS BEEN STATING THAT I HAVE MISSED A PAYMENT IN AUGUST 2009 WHEN IN FACT I HAVE MADE THE PAYMENT. AS OF JUNE THEY STATED THAT THERE WAS A SHORTAGE IN MY ACCOUNT AND STOPPED MENTIONING PAYMENT AND TOLD ME THAT WAS NO LONGER THE ISSUE BUT I STILL NEEDED TO AKE SURE I BROUGHT ESCROW UP TO PAR BECAUSE OF SHORTAGE THAT DATED BACK FORM 2009 WHICH IN 2010 WAS NEVER MENTIONED. I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH THEM TODAY AND THEY TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A SHORTAGE OF OVER 3200 AND THAT THEY MAILED TWO PAYMENTS IN EXCESS OF 2100 BACK TO ME AND THEY WERE CASHED. I NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING AND MAKE ALL MY PAYMENTS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF A FEW ELECTRONICALLY. I ASKED WHY WOULDN'T THEY CREDIT THE SAME ACCOUNT I HAVE BEEN MAKING PAYMENTS TO THEM AND THEY SIMPLY STATED THEY WERE IN THE MAIL. THEY CONTINUE TO FRAUDULENTLY REQUEST DIFFERENT MONIES FROM ME FOR DIFFERENT REASONS AND I HAVE SURPASSED A TOTAL OF 23000 GIVEN TO THEM THIS YEAR. THEY HAVE ALSO CHANGED MY MONTHLY PAYMENT 4 TIMES THIS YEAR ALONE. THEY SERIOUSLY NEED TO BE WATCHED AND REPORTED TO EVERY FRAUD AGENCY THERE IS. STAND UP!!!
