Cenlar is the worst at customer service

Well first you get thru to some guy in India that will not put you thru to his supervisor. That was yesterday. Today I was on hold for over 20 minutes, then the guy came back on told me they were busy and would answer my question by mail within 15 days. This company could care less about customer service, just dont be a day late on your payment,,,then they pay attention. I just paid off my morage, insureance due to torrnada. They, Cenlar, owes me a large sum of money, but they are just sitting on it. They have homes, guess I dont need to buy anthor one. Whe ever is in charge of thier stateside offices and customer service should be looking for work or in jail, or both.

Cenlar holds escrow funds and takes forever to return

Cenlar mortgage uses an India call center and no one can be reached here in U.S. I tried to close escrow account and get my money back and it has taken 2 weeks! They hold 2 months escrow because that is their "policy" which is drawing interest. Not their money but get the benefits!! My previous mortgage company did not require this to be held 9in my escrow account.These people are not at all customer focused.They are totally indifferent Their Customer Service would be better served to call it CUSTOMER FRUSTRATION!!! Cenlar review in New Orleans, Louisiana: Impossible to get any help!!

all I need to know is when my PMI drops off. When I called customers service will not tell you anything - they direct you to the web site. Once on the web site when ever you type all the info in and add submit, you get a error message EVERY time.. I tried so many times and it always happens. When you try to register a new account, you get a "timed out" message. HOW CANI BE TIMED OUT WHEN IT NEVER LET ME IN?? There is NO way for me to get the info I need. I can not find out anything!! If anyone has any idea how to get info on your own account I would love the advice.

I have paid more than my monthly payment since TBW transferred the loan and they have not reported this to my credit score. Also, I just found out today that they have not credited my account......very frusrated I will be spending Black Friday dealing with CENLAR -

No Words to Describe Cenlar

Over the years that Cenlar has serviced my mortgage I have been harassed and lied to so many times it is not even funny. First lets start with the fact that you have until the 16th beforeyour loan is cdonsidered late yet every month I start receiving phone calls, sometimes as early as the first of the month asking when we are goingto be making the payment. Every time they would I would tell them that we always make our payment online by the 15th. 4 or 5 days later I would be getting the same call from them and would tell them the same thing. I would ask if they ever reviewed the notes in the system before calling somebody and was always told that the notes only stayed in the system for 10 days. Several times I inquired as to which company actually help our mortgage and was never able to get a straight answer until on day I was talking to a lady regarding a loss that we had at our home and was told that Wells Fargo was the investor. When we had the claim on our house we called the insurance company, who of course had to contact Cenlar. Once the repairs were made and the company that had completed them had told the insurance company Cenlar stepped into the picture and before we knew what was going on it had taken over 6 months for the company to get paid for the work they had performed even though we had completed everything that ws asked of us to insure that the work was completed and the house was again in good condition. The hold up was Cenlar and the misinformation that they had given the insurance company. WHen the check arrived at our house for us to endorse they had given the insurance company two or three different bank names and all of these companies were supposed to endorse the check to allow the company to deposit it. It was crazy as we watched this check come through our hands at least three differnt times from Cenlar. At one point, I had lost my job and started trying to contact Cenlar about our options for modifying the loan. By the time that we finally got forms to fill out over 7 months had passed and I had started a new job. We ere then told that due to our never having been late or behind on our payments and the fact that I was back to work that we could not qualify for a modifaction. During the time the value of our house had gone down from $225,000 to $69,000 - $75,000 and we still could not get anything done. We were needing to do work on the house to make it more handicapped accesable for my mother-in-law and to give my wife a better place to work from home since she was supposed to have a private office. We finally just said forget it and found another house that would fit our needs and we would have some equity to work with. The neighborhood had gone downhill so bad that we kneww that we would never got our money back out of it. When we moved out the calls really started, sometimes coming two and three a day even if we did answer them. After weeks of this harrasment I was talking to one particularly rude CS rep that was all but calling me a liar and was actually yelling at me so load that my wife could her both sides of the conversation even when I stepped into the other room. I made a comment about there systems being out of date and not able to keep notes longer I was flat out called a liar and told that no CS rep would ever tell me such a thing and demanded the name of the person that had told me that. When I told her the every CS I had ever talked to had told me the same thing she again called me a liar and demanded that we make our payment over the phone right then. That is when I hung up on her. We had put the old house up for a short sale and received three offers fairly quickly. The first we rejected as being to low and then accepted the second. It was submitted to Cenlar who never even looked at it and after two months the buyer found something and withdrew the offer. We already had another offer and submitted it. It has now been almost two months and we are still waiting on an answer. When we did get something Cenlar wanted us to put up an additional $5,000 toward the sell and said that the PMI company wanted a note for $43,000 signed. This was supposed to be an interest free note payable over 120 months at $400 per month. I know the math does not add up but we told them that we could not afford this. We have now received a letter saying that the short sale has been rejected because of a failure to reach an agreement with the PMI company. When I talked to the PMI company they say they do not know anything about this. So who is telling the truth and who is not. I'll let you debate that in your mind.

amonth or so ago I called to find out why my mtg. payment had not come thru my bank; I was told that it had just come in, I had mailed it 10 days befor , going to LA.

It was then late, but said they woulod waive the late chg. So now I mail my ck and date it on the day it's due. My funds are always by the 14th of the month. This month I did the same thing, they put the ck thru and it came back nsf.

It has yet to come thru my bank. I'm sure they will chg a late fee and nsf chg.

wow, can I relate. Everytime I spoke to a CS they would give western names and then tell me whatever I WANTED to hear."Yes people!" Seems their business practices are OFF shore along with their CS workers!!

Each time I'd INSIST on speaking to a supervisor.

Finally found out Cenlar main offices seem to be in NJ.I actually got a return call after giving my own threat, turned into a promise as I sent them a certified return receipt letter proving my PAID tax bill and when I had mailed it and a signature will be on the card of whom picked it up from Cenlar. That's all that is needed to verify receipt for legal action to begin.No more denial,unanswered phone calls,or mis-routed faxes....proof.

I get calls from (609)718-2432 that hang up as soon as I answer. I do have a mortgage with Cenlar. Are the two things related?

I represent a borrower with a great case against the banks. I would love to hear from anyone who has had similar experiences with CENLAR to support her case. She was making timely payments until TB&W rejected her payment one month and her loan was acquired by CENLAR....

You can call me if u would like 6785221741 I had a mortgage with cenlar filed multiple applications for hardship to decrease payment due to a child diagnosed with disability they continued to deny me until home foreclosed

Cenlar review in Venice, Florida: Not able to contact a person about a problem

I have my mortgage payment done via automatic payment from my bank. A problem came up when the wrong account # was used. Now I have 2 payments going to the wrong account. I tried calling Cenlar to correct the problem and could only talk to someone in India. He did not understand the problem and it took over 45 min. for him to tell me to just send the payment again. I do not want a late payment for a mistake I did not make. I would like to speak to a person in the US and get it done in one call.

CENLAR has been collecting $20 and $16 for inspection fees and other fees for whatever reason. I'm so unhappy with them that I need a lawsuit myself.

They are NOT to be trusted and need to be investigated by the FDIC.

Cenlar review in Tupelo, Mississippi: Absolutely awful

This is the worst company...absolutely --No one to talk to when you call. You can get no customer service help at all. My taxes are not even in with my loan and they have added them in more than doubling my house payment. It is impossible to work with this company. My payment went through my bank on 3/1 and they didn't post it until 3/18. Is there anyone out there who has information on a class action lawsuit? Is there any way the government will help us on this???? I'm trying to survive but with them it is going to be impossible. Has anyone else received this type of treatment? Why won't they work with you if you are trying to pay your mortgage?

First things first... send certified return receipt letter with copy of paid taxes from last year. You have the RIGHT to pay your own taxes/insurance and NOT set up an escrow(aless you have a HUD or is in ur mtg)

By Cenlar NOT acknowledging receipt of mail, faxes or having their "yes people" in India,Cenlar continues to send their threatening letters stating they have not received notificacation of PAID taxes, forcing thousands of individuals into escrow accounts.If you paid your taxes last year...send documentation and QUIT paying more...ask for refend.Join CLASS ACTION SUIT. cbhart21@yahoo.com

Cenlar Sucks

I have tryed for six weeks to straighten out a problem with the 1098 I received form Cenlar, several emails,. and phone calls which are to India. Cenlar took our Loan over from our local bank, It is one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. I don't think I need the extra fifty words required to tell how bad this campany is to deal with, I sure hope you take my advise and stay clear of havin the same bad experiance, also you can hardly understand the english spoken by the employs that answer the phone.
