Our homeowners insurance was paid in full. We changed insurance companies, gave Cenlar full notification of cancellation of old policy and new policy information in statement date.
The old policy was canceled and premium was refunded to Cenlar. A month later we received a notice saying new insurance was going to be assigned because of lack of Homeowners Insurance. We had to scramble to call the new insurance company and make payment immediately by credit card and Cenlar was supposed to send the entire premium, and we would be refunded half of the premium which we paid by credit card. That was in March!
We are still awaiting payment, even though we have contacted them numerous times regarding our overpayment!
Basically they are just sitting on our money and tying it up in escrow not doing their job. No explanation!
