I have had it with this company! I was a TB&W client and was sold off to Cenlar.

I had absolutely no issues previous to dealing with Cenlar...for the last year I have been dealing with them jacking up my escrow account by $300+ because I have had to have my insurance companies send them disclosures that I am covered. First I have two different insurances because I have a condex and have to carry regular and master insurance. After calling both insurance companies (which were completely great about sending the info) I called Cenlar...they claimed they got nothing from the insurance companies. I called the companies again, they verified the number they faxed to and confirmed that I spoke to someone and the info was faxed.

They obliged by resending the info. I called Cenlar again and at first they tried to tell me they did not receive the info. After re-checking they "found" the info and refunded all my back money paid for the insurance they slapped on.

Now they are up to their old tricks, I received an Annual Escrow Account Disclosure Statement, again they are trying to tack on the insurance. They are trying to tell me again that I need to send an insurance disclosure to prove I have insurance (BTW my insurance has not changed in 14 years!) I also don't get why the women who work there have names like "Victor", "Joseph", "George"...if they are going to make up names why not female names???

Be very careful about what information you give to CENLAR when they tell you they are willing to help you bring your loan current. They work very closely with the foreclosure mill attorneys--I believe the "loss mitigation" team either works for the law firms, or get compensated for pushing through foreclosures when they are supposed to be doing loan mods/repayment plans.

Class action pending against this terrible company. Get the full name and ID numbers for each CENLAR rep you speak to, because they will lie about what they promised to you on the phone.

You will want to file a counterclaim against the company AND the individual employee. Also do not sign any loan modification if it requires you to waive your right to a jury trial.
