I and my bank have contacted cenlar on numerous occasions to locate and return two checks which were mistakenly sent to Cenlar. It is difficult to get hold of a human being, but when we do we explain the situation and fax them all the pertinent information.
They respond they will have their investigative unit get into the matter and respond in 3 days. This is the story at least 10 times. No one ever phones or communicates back.
It is a black box that cannot be penetrated. Their must be something nefarious with the organization--how can a company today be so unresponsive.
