Have a mortgage with them
- - Statements were monthly at first, but late.
- - Checks were mailed by the 15th and past due.
- - Now I use the Credit Union for payments and statements.
it's been 5 years now, at 1st they sent out monthly billing statements, but always seemed to process them late, send the check on the 15th of the month before the 10th due date they never got the payment on the account until after the due date. Then they quit sending statements or yearend documents, now I take my payments to the Credit Union now and also go there to get my yearend statements. How there has not been a class action lawsuit against them is beyond me.

They are still jerking me around. But they have amended the amount due after I caught a huge accounting error. I do want to do the interview.
First, Cenlar is foreclosing on my house and asking for more money than what is owed.
My original loan taken out 9 years ago was for $850k. Now, however, Cenlar is demanding $890K for the payoff. I paid my mortgage payments 8 years, and in the 9th year I took a forbearance because of COVID related work issues. Cenlar has now taken the money owed from that year of forbearance and created a second principal account for $95,000.
And solar has added that second principle to the first for the payoff. On the phone the semi representative admitted that if I paid the second principal off they would reduce the first principle by the amount of that payoff so that it doesn't count twice. But rather than reduce the first and create the second or add them together CENLAR is attempting to make me pay twice.
Second, Cenlar has been jerking me around concerning insurance funds for rebuilding one of my units that burnt down. The insurance company paid Cenlar a little more than 300k for amounts owed due to a claim I made because of a fire.
Cinema put that money into an escrow account two months ago and told me over the last few months that it would release some of the money to me. On no less than three occasions similar told me that it would release a third of the money so that I could start building. The money never came. And said similar just kept stringing me along up until the date of a foreclosure sale of my property.
That date got continued for some other reasons and cenlar then admitted that it will not return the funds because of the foreclosure. Cenlar said that it made a managerial exception to withhold the funds. Cenlar also disclosed that Citi was to purchase my property as an REO.
Third, Cenlar is acting in bad faith with respect to dealing with me. It's representatives bounce me around and I spend hours a day on calls with various departments no one can and no one can help me.
Having no one to speak with makes it impossible to work something out with Cenlar.
In a nutshell, Cenlar is attempting to take my house for less than it's worth, keep my insurance settlement funds, and leave me high and dry with nothing. I have several hundred thousand dollars worth of equity in the house that Cenlar is trying to steal by using bad faith tactics. Cenlar has put roadblocks up at every stop to make it impossible for me to get out of this with my money.
I am now applying for government benefits and food stamps because I am living in a shack half burnt down with no ability to work because my office and all my my clothing and everything was destroyed. Nonetheless, I'm fighting and have to win this.

I paid an additional payment towards the principle of my home and Cenlar decided this was just a donation to them, because that payment came out of my bank, but never managed to show up on my balance for the loan.
Then Cenlar decided to sell my loan off to some other company and not tell me until the change was already happening, guess what, they still don't see that I've made any payments to Cenlar.
Should be an easy fix right? Call Cenlar, get things straightened out?
Nope.
They must be used to pulling shady stuff, because their automated system will NOT let you talk to a human, it just tells you to go contact the new loan holder. Ok, sounds like its lawyering time.

Hello,
I sent a certified letter on January 30th asking to have a UCC 3 filed, and I have yet to hear anything about the status of this request.
I have tried multiple numbers to reach someone, both customer service and legal, but no one answers. It's just an auto attendant, and all options lead to a dead end.
My attorney needs this completed as it continues to hold up a transaction.

Irresponsible and predatorial
- - Payment sent twice; USPS signature shows receipt.
- - They claim no payment, add late fees and threaten credit bureau; rude service.
After sending payment twice for same month and having black and white digital signature from the USPS of someone in Cenlar receiving the payment they still all the way to the top are telling me that that they dont have the payment and are adding a late fee to my loan and threatening us with reporting the late payment to the credit bureau. We have to call every month multiple times to make sure our payments are applied on time. The customer service is very rude and dismissive.
For the love of god, why this company is still in business is beyond my comprehension.

They dont receive your documents on time. They keep losing your paper
Never the same person and you have to keep repeating over and they talk over you dont listen to you. They dont know your file at all. They dont want to take responsibility and they dont provide a checklist and each person tell you something differently. It was just like *** to work with them.
