They said you can never go wrong buying a home , You would always have money! Well that was a lie! Our Property was worth about $580,000,000.00 And now they tell you it right back where we started 291! How is that?

Im confused, you wanted a loan modification because you wanted to get an even trade?

Are you aware that just because you put 1k into your house for improvements does not mean your house increases in value by 1k?

Honestly, your rant is more of a declaration of your incompetence with understanding the housing market, financial decisions and what loan modifications are for. Since it doesn't sound like you were hurting with your excellent credit and exorbitant amount of money spent on your home, then you most likely would not qualify for a loan modification.

I'm still unclear what CENLAR did to swindle you and exactly how they took your home.

Now, if you borrowed against your inflated estimated value of your home during the good times, well then- that speaks loads to your financial competence.

BTW- My mortgage has been handled by CENLAR since we got it and my only complaint is they wont take our weekly payments!

Oh yes ! Its bad when you have spent that much plus in your home and it your nest egg !

And you paid 291 at the beginning! It had doubled in value over the years ! So all we were asking for was a modification and we were turned down ! So is it ok take the investments that we have built !

But you have to continue paying their money ! Your money does not count!!

Wow, 580 million ain't bad.

Anyway, exactly *who* are blaming here for your home being worth less than it was? You DO realize the entire housing market crashed, yes?
